Each set of letter tiles has 100 letters (with set point values) that can easily be copied, laminated and used for years. A set of letters works best with 4 groups of 2, 3 or 4 students per group. Since 3 sets are included, you can use this activity with very large groups, using little to no PE equipment. The Fitness Scrabble-Scramble game WORKS and your students will ask for it over and over again! The following fitness activity, What’s on Your Plate- Christmas Edition is a “high energy, fun and organized” PE Christmas-themed activity that can easily be used as a warm up, cool down, or extended as a “stand alone” activity during fitness instruction. Twenty circular signs with corresponding fitness movements were created to help develop your students personal fitness during those challenging weeks leading up to the Winter Break. The circular signs can be put on paper plates (and then laminated) where they will serve as flat reference points for students to rotate around to and perform fitness exercises. Your students will love the movement exercises and the Christmas-related graphics. They will want to repeat the activity many times during the weeks leading up to the holiday season. The following fitness activity, What’s on Your Plate- Valentine’s Day Fitness Edition is a “high energy, fun and organized” PE Valentine-themed activity that can easily be used as a warm up, cool down, or extended as a “stand alone” activity during fitness instruction. Thirty, circular signs with corresponding fitness movements were created to help develop your students' personal fitness during those challenging weeks in the dead of the Winter. Your students will love the movement exercises and the Valentine-related graphics. They will want to repeat the activity many times during the weeks leading up to Valentine's Day. This fitness activity can be used in a gym setting, in a classroom or anywhere that you have some space to have kids perform some stationary exercises and movement skills in small groups. The PE Soccer Stations are 20 fun filled, “Kick Around” soccer-themed station signs/cards that you can use at your outdoor field, school gymnasium or could be modified to be performed in a smaller space such as a large classroom or empty cafeteria. Each station card provides a soccer-related skill (i.e. ball control, juggling, dribbling, passing, shooting, goalkeeping, etc.) and includes a brief instructional direction and a graphic that depicts the activity. The activities are standards-based and there are plenty of activities for you to choose from or for the students to take part in during multiple class periods or recess times if necessary. The stations work great as an activity for the weeks leading up to the World Cup. These Soccer Stations are ideal for a physical education teacher to teach manipulative skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, heading, punting, goal-keeping and developing movement skills such as dodging and running without a ball. This Throwing, Tossing and Catching Skill Cues- PE Display Board has been uniquely developed as a valuable and attractive visual aid for teaching skill-based sport units in physical education. The entire display is designed to cover a large space like a gym wall or can be condensed to fit on and around a medium to large sized bulletin board. The display board has a large “central piece banner” made up of 8 connecting 8 ½” by 11” sheets which includes the “Unit Title” and a subheading describing the “Skill Cues”. The banner also includes some eye-catching graphics that go along with the skill set. The entire display board also comes with 8 colorful throwing/catching sport names and 18 cues (6 per skill) for 1. Overhand Throw, 2. Underhand Toss/Throw and 3. Catching. A graphic for each skill (3 total) also accompany the skill cues. The cue descriptions used in this display for throwing and catching along with the “sport names” are helpful as a reference for you as a teacher and can be highlighted during PE lessons. The banner, words and graphics are meant to be laminated and can be used for many, many years. Forget about your old “drab” hand made bulletin boards. LET’S START A REVOLUTION!!! Inside this PACKAGE are 25 “FANTASTIC FRISBEE” games, designed for students with a wide range of abilities, from 3rd Grade through 10th Grade. These HIGH FLYING DISC GAMES are ideal for large or medium sized groups, outside on a field, on a blacktop play area or inside a large gym. The following fitness activity, What’s on Your Plate- Halloween Fitness Edition is a “high energy, fun and organized” PE Halloween-themed activity that can easily be used as a warm up, cool down, or extended as a “stand alone” activity during fitness instruction. Twenty circular signs with corresponding fitness movements were created to help develop your students personal fitness during those challenging weeks leading up to Halloween day. Your students will love the movement exercises and the Halloween-related graphics. This fitness activity can be used in a gym setting, in a classroom or anywhere that you have some space to have kids perform some stationary exercises and movement skills in small groups.
